I'm a big fan of Klairs products. They're created by Wishtrend.com which was and is a retailer for Korean beauty products. They launched Dear Klairs when they realized how competitive the e-Commerce business is especially with Amazon as such a formidable player.
Dear Klairs was born out of a desire to control their own destiny with their own brand and it's formulated for sensitive skin types.
As someone with sensitive skin, their products really resonate with me. They're formulated without a lot of things like parabens, alcohol, artificial fragrances and reminds me a bit of Kiehls in its simple, no nonsense, basic skincare angle.
I've tried and reviewed their Supple Preparation Facial Toner before and now I'm onto their BB Cream.
The Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream has won a lot of awards and after trying it on for a few weeks, I can tell why. Like the rest of their products, it's pretty basic and no frills but does its job well.
Color and Texture
There is only one shade which luckily suits my skin tone. I wear a N21 for cushion compacts and am fair with slightly pink undertones. The Klairs BB Cream has no gray cast and blends well into the skin. A little goes a long way and you can use a wet sponge to help blend.
The texture is slightly more liquid-y than some other bb creams I've used and the coverage is medium. The coverage is heavier than a tinted moisturizer but not quite has heavy as a full foundation. I really like the coverage level for daily wear.
This is a very buildable BB Cream meaning that you can apply multiple layers for more coverage as needed.
I love that the Klairs BB Cream comes in a small tube because it's so travel friendly. It's also much more sanitary and the small slim shape makes it handy to carry around whenever you need a touch up.
Scent or Fragrance
It has a very slight fragrance which doesn't smell much like anything and it doesn't bother me at all.
The Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream is a great bb cream if you fit the shade. It's small size is perfect for travel and on-the-go. It applies well and has just the right amount of coverage for daily use. Get it here for $19.00.
Have you tried this bb cream? What did you think?
