I went to Paris in June 2015 and packed some K-Beauty essentials. Mizon All-in-One Snail Repair Cream, Amore Pacific Cushion Compact, and Banila Co. Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm. I went to different drugstores and pharmacies in Paris (because that's where the best French skincare is!) and picked up a few French essentials. Here's a quick comparison:
Cleanser: Banila Co. Clean It Zero or Bioderma Micellar Water
Bioderma Cleansing Water - Micellaire water made of tiny oil molecules suspended in water. It gently cleanses your skin and removes the most stubborn of makeup.
Banila Co. Clean It Zero - Made of mineral oil, this cleansing sherbet is what Korean women use to double cleanse and remove their makeup and oil-based impurities.
Love my Banila Co. cleanser since it's travel friendly and no cotton pad is needed.
SPF: Amore Pacific Cushion Compact or La Roche Posay Sunscreen in a Stick
Amore Pacific Cushion Compact - My cushion compact is a staple. I use it every day for just a bit of coverage and to even out my skin tone. Thing is, I always put on extra SPF underneath it so I wouldn't use this for the sun protection.
La Roche Posay Sunscreen in a Stick - Love the format since it's travel friendly and great for extra touch ups. I used this stick on my hands as well since I tend to get sun spots on my left hand during the summer.
I think you need both of these items for sun care during when the summer sun is strong.
Moisturizer/Balm: Mizon Snail Cream or Homeoplasmine
Mizon Snail Cream - The snail mucin is a little tacky but absorbs quickly and serves as a great first moisturizer or light, summer moisturizer.
Homeoplasmine - Kind of a Vaseline-y balm that's great for extra moisturization when your lips and skin feels really, really dry. More of salve.
Ok, these are not exactly super comparable but they are both great although Mizon Snail Cream could be a great summer pick and Homeoplasmine great for dry winter.
